L2-SkaLe is more than just a Lineage 2 private server — it's a passion project started by players, for players. Built from scratch and driven by nostalgia, it aims to deliver a clean, fair, and stable Interlude-era experience.

🛠 How It All Started

The project began as a personal challenge to bring back the golden days of Lineage 2 — before pay-to-win, before over-customization, and before retail lost its soul. What started as a fun experiment quickly grew into a serious development path.

🔧 Development Journey

Our server files were originally based on High Five, but we decided to go backward. Through an intense process of downgrading, cleaning, and restoring legacy systems, we transitioned from High Five → Epilogue → Interlude.

This wasn’t easy — many systems had to be rewritten or stripped entirely to ensure Interlude purity. Our goal was to recreate official-like behavior while maintaining maintainability and performance.
